Why must I create an Account?
Although it is not compulsory, we highly recommend that you create an account before you purchase on the ALSAIF website. By having an Account, you qualify for reduced online prices, and for daily and weekly specials. ALSAIF utilises the information that you registered with to complete your purchase and to be able to deliver to you. This information is also used for warranty purposes.
How much will it cost to create an Account?
It is completely free to create an account.
What details do I require to create an Account?
We will need your Name, Surname, Deliver Address, Email and telephone numbers.
What must I do if I lose my username or password?
You can reset your username and password on the Account-page on the ALSAIF website. Alternatively you can also email md@alsaif.co.za or contact 087-898-8888 to reset your details.
PURCHASING
Why should I buy online?
Buying online is convenient and saves a lot of time. By buying online means you will have easy access to all of your previous orders. You can repeat your order anytime, as many times as you want, based on your previous orders with only a few clicks. This will save time and effort as you don’t need to go through all the documents and emails from past purchases.
Do you have the product in stock?
All the products which are shown on our website are available.
Who can I call if I need help with my purchase?
If you need any additional product information, or have any other questions, you can contact our call centre on 087-898-8888 or you can email md@alsaif.co.za. Alternately you can also complete the contact form on our website, and we will call you back.
Is VAT charged?
ALSAIF is a registered VAT vendor and as a result VAT is charged as standard rate on every transaction. Should you require a Tax Invoice for your purchase, kindly contact our call centre or email us.
Do all tools and equipment carry a warranty?
All tools and equipment carry a 12-month warranty from date of purchase. Please refer to our Warranty policy for more information.
What if I don’t want the goods anymore?
You are welcome to let us know within 14 days and return the goods to us within 30 days for a refund, provided the goods are unopened and unused (refer to our Return and Replacement Policy).
What happens when something is faulty or breaks?
Simply contact us and return the goods to our Northlands Deco Park Warehouse and our inhouse technician will conduct a technical assessment which will determine the course of action (refer to our Warranty policy).
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order provided you have not received a Delivery note. Goods are dispatched from our Warehouse as soon as the delivery note is issued, by which it is then too late to cancel your order.
Do I have to order online?
Ordering online is the simplest and fastest way to shop. However, you can also email or phone your order through.
PAYMENTS
What payment methods can I use?
ALSAIF offers various secure methods of payment, from Payfast to Instant EFT. These options are available to select on the checkout page.
How long does it take for my payment to clear?
Depending on the method of payment selected, it can take anything from one to four business days for payment to reflect in ALSAIF’s bank account. The following payment methods will clear within a few hours:
- Payfast
- Instant EFT
What should I do if the payment is not accepted?
Please try again in a little while. If the payment is still not accepted, please verify your account balance. If everything is as it should, but you still can’t make the payment, please contact the ALSAIF call centre. We can process your order manually.
DELIVERY
How long will it take for my goods to be delivered?
Goods are dispatched from our warehouse the same day payment clears our account. Depending on your area, delivery can take anything from two to seven business days.
Can I change my address after I have purchased?
You can change your address anytime, provided you have not received a Delivery note. Goods are dispatched from our Warehouse as soon as the delivery note is issued, by which it is then too late to change any details.
How can I change delivery address?
Sign into your account and update your details. Alternately contact ALSAIF by telephone or email.
What must I do if I have not received my goods?
Please contact ALSAIF by either telephone or email for assistance.
Can I track my order?
You can track your order by entering your order number/ waybill number on the Track your Order page
What are the delivery charges?
Delivery charges are dependent on the shipment requirements and the area of delivery. You can view the delivery charges on the checkout page before the payment is made.
